What We Do

We will provide all our guests with their regular home routines and comforts as much as possible so that they settle in quickly and know that Top Dog is a happy and peaceful place.

We will do up to five walks a day if they are up to it but understand that in the case of the less mobile or elderly only a few times in the garden may be required. Either way, whatever you wish we will do.

We start at 7.30am and we are still doing final garden let outs at 10.00pm, just as you would at home.

We encourage you to bring absolutely everything to make them feel at home, including beds, bedding, toys, all food, treats, chews, food and water bowls, leads/harnesses and anything else you wish within reason/licensing rules etc. (i.e. nothing sharp/electrical etc). Bringing something personal from yourselves is always nice and comforting. Perhaps an item of your clothing or even their favourite chair!

And don’t forget that list of all the special words, routines and nicknames you use. Basically, the more we know about them the better service we can provide.

All dietary requirements will be catered for and we can also cook anything in our fully equipped kitchen.

Whilst you are away we will send you regular updates and photos to put your mind at rest.

We never mix dogs with others from outside their family and every walk and let out is closely supervised.

We are extremely security conscious and we are trained in canine first aid and the local vets is only 10 minutes away.

Although our kennels are beautiful, peaceful, spotlessly clean and fresh smelling, it’s the physical and mental wellbeing of our precious guests that’s paramount.

Martin, Lesley and the team are genuine dog lovers that go that extra mile to make sure all our guests have a wonderful time while they are here.
